Gov. Joe Lombardo signed an executive order on Friday to reduce tax breaks for new data centers and require a community support commitment so the facilities pay utility costs + the Governor’s Office of Economic Development will set the standards by Nov.

Clark County is accepting applications for the Business Development Advisory Council, a volunteer group that advises the Board on expanding opportunities for small, women-, minority-, and veteran-owned businesses; applications are available on the County website and must be submitted by 5:30 p.m. Oct. 2 +
